SXR footholds, scuper, foam or not to foam?

Well i am re-doing my footholds and chopping 1.5 inches off the back of my ski, playing around with the idea of throwing the exhaust out the side in the rear, on a 45 degree angle flush with the hull. Not in the front like most side exhausts but right where the foothoolds are that area of the hull. Any thoughts on how it would work? or would it be just as loud as being out the front?

Next since i am re-glassing my footholds in i was wondering about the foam. Its the stock white stuff that comes in the sxr. Should i leave it or maybe go with some 4lbs expanding foam form US composites? Or can i take it all out and run nothing there? I have read something about ppl not putting any back in but i want to see what you all have to say about it.

Next since i will be tearing into everything else in the rear i figured i might as well do a scupper vavle. Any suggestions on who has the best scupper?

Thanks

The nice thing about kawi is the styrofoam. I'd just reinforce the footholds, & keep styrofoam. Add drain plugs to both side after the chop.

Sounds good, i think im just going to add a scupper on the one side, still dont know what to do about my rear exhaust, i think it would be cool on the side rear but idk yet, any thoughts on putting it out the inside rear, like into the pump or is that a bad idea?

Do a scupper and keep the styrofoam! If you get rid of the drain plug, make sure it is watertight or you'll get water in the back of your hull that you can't get out! That why my ski weighed so much!!!!!

i would still put a little foam around the holds to reinforce them.
it'll be high up in the hull so even if it gets wet the water will drain out.
