I was wondering that too. I am waiting to put my CATS back on I thought the wedge would be a good substitute for the time being but haven't seen much on it.
On the 98-02 sxi pro's there was a wedge between the pump and the pump nozzle. I think the wedge was 3 degree's. It was used to help keep the nose down.
Now, D Silcker has a real good idea for using that wedge upside down on an sxr to help keep the nose up when riding in the surf.
Props to Brent. I'm waiting to see how it works out his weekend at BL.
Wow, I just parted out a 1994 750 SX I bought to make profit. It had this same pump wedge on it. I was wondering what the heck it was. So this pump wedge had to have been added to the 1994 right?
But it had some tab thingy that would only let you install it in one direction. I don't know if you'll be able to use it in the up position without modifying it.
I'll right I just went to my parts stash and found the wedge I have.
I just tried in on the extra nozzles I have and it can be installed so it pushs the nozzle up instead of down.
