Yes the blue one runs, well we were told that, we still have a few things minor to do, and i just bought a motor for pink one but dont know if its going to work out, its pretty much superglued shut, ha any ideas on how to remove the head from the cylinder and the clylinder from the crank, they painted all over it and they broke the tabs off. so besides beating on it is there any other way?

By "skirts" I'm guessing you be the side rails???? Using turf on them works well. I would just buy a big sheet and cut everything as needed from there. Make sure you are turfing to bare gelcoat. If you turn on paint it will just pull the paint off.

For turfing rails lay the top edge first and then fold it down around the side. Cut the bottom edge at a 45 degree angle and beat it down with a rubber mallet. Use DAP Weldwood contact cement. I usually put 2 coats on the turf and one on the fiberglass. Make sure you let it dry long enough before applying the two piece together.
