lol now this is funny but sad at the same time...

oxnard111 was over last night...we were looking at my grey rn (backup ski)..i pulled the hood off and i was treated to a rather unpleasant surprise...all of a sudden i remembered that i forgot to get the 3 or so inches of water (luckily fresh) that i have left sitting in there for the last month or so..the ski has been outside cooking in the sun...ill tell you right now i wont do that again...it stinks like strait up fecal matter in there!!!..i feel like an idiot but i guess i learned my leasson the hard way...at:

i dont think ill be getting that stench out of there any time soon..now i ahve to work on it in there:dead1:

been there, done it.

dump some simple green in the bilge, go ride it hard with the bilge turned off.

itll get better, then rinse it well, I think simple green will harm aluminum if left on it.

there is also a thin slime covering everthing...and the worst part is the carb was off but luckily i had a rag stuck in there..

That does suck about all the water in your hull. After every ride I always take my hood off to let everything air out. I have actually done the same thing in my 550.

No dude I didn't take the carb off to let it air out. I left a bunch of water in my old 550 for a month and never took the hood off.

SG should kill the smell........and will NOT hurt the aluminum

actually i just hosed it off a bit more and popped the hood off lol..the stench is slowly but surly going away..i gotta do some work on that ski tomarrow so ill get her all fresh before i stick my hands in there....TOO MANY PROJECTS at:
