Paul, you need to keep moving West, Southwest actually. Just drive till you hit that "Other Ocean".

:bs2: Sorry, but that is no excuse!:banghead: The FL has brought up some of the best surfers in the world. If you can learn to do stuff on a small wave, when you get into bigger surf you should be able to rip! If there are guys doing flatwater BF's there is no reason why you cant pull one on 2ft surf.:woot: I cant wait to start riding with the SFL sluts! The better riders you ride with the more the envolope gets pushed, the better you and the others will become. Grab some sackl and get her done!!!!!

Yeah, but at least i dont need a wetsuit in the summer. The water in Cape Canaveral, Fl. is 83 degrees.

I went riding with a 3.2 springsuit in early Feb. when the water was 67 degrees.
You can have your west coast.

Riding a big wave is a whole different ballgame then a 2 foot one. It is very very difficult to be aggressive on larger waves, and as far as BF and BR, it is also very difficult to learn how to slow down your rotation and increase your height, while remaining in control.

Glad you guys got to ride.................................fockers. I used to live there till people decided it would be a good idea to crowd up in one area and pay stupid prices to live 5' away from each other. Oh well, enough wine, any cheese around here????????

All it takes is heart, and practice!!!!!! Once you learn to do it on 1 wave, you should be able to councour it on any!!!!!:woot: :arms: :haha: :cheer: :headbang:

well.... there are a lot of factors to making a good rider... Crappy surf makes you want it more, you work harder and have to learn on a lot worse conditions... You don't realize how difficult it is when the waves are never consistant... It really makes you have to adjust well to lots of varying conditions... IMO East coast riders are much more technical, while west coast riders go bigger... WHy is that??? you have big waves, and we have small waves.... It's all relative to where you are located and what you ride in... werd???? If you lived here, you would not be the same rider as you are now... that may be good, that may be bad... who knows??

If I had the same pretty wave everytime I rode, my life would be lots better off... I do know that.
