Blaster Stripped shafts

Third set that's stripped! New shafts and pump/midshaft rebuilt, d/s end greased, new orings in midshaft, good shaft overlay. Alignment was done to a gnat's azz. Other than possible hull/bulkhead flex, motor mount flex, or excessive stock coupler runout, other possibilities for these shafts to only last a couple of hours?

Those look to be underlapped(underengaged) by almost all of the spline area. You can see where the orings from back of midshaft are making 2 sets of lines way down on the splines. They are supposed to ride in front of the splines about 3/16".

Also the splines are only stripped on the very end of the driveshaft.

I would make sure the 20mm dimension matches the midshaft length used just in case you ended up with a shorter one. I install the pump and driveshaft first and set the midshaft to the driveshaft to guarantee full engagement with 10-12mm of end play max.
