Stock Flame Arrestors vs Aftermarket Flame Arrestors

Get some Blue Tau Ceti arrestors to match the ski. The new jets Factory pipe includes with the pipe will want them.

Congrats on the pipe. You will just LOVE that fresh new coupler.

I dont know if your serious or being sarcastic, but I do want to find some blue andodized washers for my ADA Head. I saw someone do that and I thought it looked pretty cool.

She was actually very nice to me today. Everytime I called checking the stock for bpipes she always says "well I guess we could let a bpipe go".

She did that with me and seemed reluctant to sell me one, I can't tell if you are trying to say she says that in a jocular manner or serious.

:haha: Actually to be honest I couldn't tell if she was trying to say that jokingly or not. Who knows some people just have that really dry sense of humor.

I am really glad I bought a new one though. It's going to be nice when that b-pipe shows up at my door with everything I need with it in brand new condition and I only had to spend about an extra $170 more than most used bpipes are going for. Some people will say thats stupid, but to me I am already spending a ton of money on parts and whats a little more to have a brand new bpipe that will definitely hold its value and to be perfectly honest I was sick and tired of looking for a used bpipe. Watch now a whole bunch of used ones will go up for sale.

Understand, I bought new also. After fighting with someone on eBay, buying used and replacing the stuff that needs replacing you only end up saving about $75.

Yeah either way you look at it buying a bpipe is a nice chunk of change, but it's well worth it.

It's easy to look at a used bpipe for $450 and say wow thats a lot better than that $670, but like you said when it's all said and done its probably going to cost more like 500-550 and it's still usually a beat up looking bpipe, but that $120-170 could be put towards more parts. You can look at it either way.

Who freakin cares though I'm so excited to get this damn thing on.:Banane09:

I have a stock air box on my limited setup like Mark said. It is all you need. I love to play under water. I might be underwater more than on top. But I removed both of the stock screen packs and used a piece of aluminum house screen to cover the end of the box and snapped the 90 degree boot back on the end of it. It looks 100% stock. I don't know why you really need the screen except for maybe keeping a fish out of the carb if your under water as long as Skywalker's ski was.
The screen is to absorb the flame if there was ever a backfire. Try holding a match under the stock screen,(out of the boat of course), and you will see what I mean.

I realized I mis-spoke in earlier in this thread.
Aftermarket f/a's do not require rejetting, but the b pipe will require it.

Just so I dont look like a d/a$$.:clown:

I didn't know that I figured it was somethign like that but wsan't sure. I did learn something new today... But on the other hand what the hell I don't need fire suppression I have a fire extinguisher just so that I don't get a ticket... It dosen't work it just looks like it is a good one.
