I've heard that the 1st mod I should do is an impellar and bilge pumps.. I weigh 190 pounds. K6jet @ pwctoday told me to get a solas concord 13/15 with a 3mm cutback. I'm planning on future mods to the engine later. Will this impellar be good for my stock engine and my engine later when I put on fpp and new heads? Any suggestions?

Creative RE Purchasing
There has been countless discussions on this subject here on the X, just hit up the search, but here is my experience.

Alot of people go different routes, but my first real mod was a prop (and bilge) on my stock SJ.

I purchased a Solas Concord 13/16 3mm cut by Impros from Blowsion. It made a world of difference on my bone stock ski. You could tell the engine wasn't spinning up enough, but with the Factory B pipe, head, and raise of the rev limiter or MSD enchancer will take care of that.

I now have that same exact prop on my new ski which is 62T, Riva head (35cc domes), dual 44's, and B-pipe and that impeller rips.

I ride the surf but either way its great.

impeller first. the solas concord you mentioned or the scat track swirl. A prop and pipe will give you all the power you need for a while.
