I love hearing nice things about him, simply because he seems to deserve it. Ross is a highly respectable gentleman, as well as a fun person from what I have experienced…his disposition seems impeccable.

I love the thought of riders in other countries. Did you take any photos of the event by chance?

Pierre 1st

Mick Barton(AUS) 2nd, his HUGE helicopter 360's were insane

I think Ross got 3rd

Ross was a great guy, seeing him ride over and check on other competitors after an off during his heats/finals was great. As well as wrenching on other peoples skis at the clinic all day today.

plus he beat me in the quarter finals :) by 1 point

He probaly bribed the judges.... j/k of course.

The freeride aspect of this sport must have the most friendly/helpfull people on the planet. From US and Europe events, the comradey among freeriders is second to none.
Ross truely embodies this spirit. Congrats Mr. C!!

ross, pierre , and the other pro freeriders are doing some amazing things, how come you still see bmx and skateboarding on tv, but no jet sking, i think if someone with some tv connections could show what these riders are doing today it would make for great tv

Ross is awesome, met him when i rode in SD and was like holy crap holy crap. his battery was dead so he didn't ride but hung out and talked with everyone while we put the skis in the truck. hooked it up with a Go-Fast energy drink too. the next day we rode....i saw him ride in Pismo but, in SD it was pretty much Ross, Chris(ckjetski) and I just moto'n.......amazing.......that day pretty much inspired me to get into the sport.

after we rode i dropped my keys in the water while my alarm on my truck was set so i couldn't start my truck, Ross stayed for a min and than told me he'll be at denny's and to call him if i need help.

not a lot of people would do that nowadays.

one thing that's cool is if you didn't know who Ross is, he wouldn't tell you, he a humble dude and a great ambassador for the sport.

thanks again for the help Ross!:woot:

That is how it is with 99% of all the freestylers here in the US, it is like it is not a competition at all.
