Today after about 2 1/2 hours of riding, on my way in my SN cut off as though I'd pulled the lanyard out or like I'd run out of gas. Initally it would crank, but not fire. Aftter about 4-5 attempt of trying to re-start it I switched to reserve thinking maybe I'd run out of gas on the main line. Then after 3 or 4 more attempts it fired (in a slow muffled fire). I rode back to the ramp(1/2 mile or less) and expecting to see almost no gas, but there was plenty of gas (in between a 1/2 and 1/4 tank). I turned back to ON from Reserve and it fired right up. I kept turning it off and then attempting to re-start it and every time it fired right up on the first attempt as though nothing had ever happened.
I didn't re-ride it because it was getting too dark there was too long of a no wake zone to go through.
When I got it on the trailer and tried to re-start it, it strongly fired right up as thought there had never been an issue. And when I got it home it also fired right up on the first attempt as though there had never been an issue.
So, all that said can someone tell me what might have caused it to cut off and initially not re-fire for 8-10 attempts? My buddy said, "don't worry about it," but I'm concerned. Should I be? And if so, what could this be?
THANKS!
