yup. we launch there but we usually go find some surf.i remember seeing all the 550s down there when i was a little kid sometimes we set up buoys though

surf was really good yesterday but i didnt have very good luck..first we get all the way out of the harbor and my ski starts running on one cyl..plus cap popped off...so i get towed all the way back in switch plugs fix the problem so i thought and head back out..get all the way down to where we ride and its the best its been in months..overhead and thick..i go up for my first slash on a decent size wave and my ski starts running on one halfway through my turn..i get caught in the lip and take a little trip over the falls and lose my ski..well my hoodlatch broke and my ski nearly sank..so i ended up having to get towed back again (about 2miles)..not fun..but i found the problem..didnt trim the plug wire back far enough..oh well..

why dont yo9u call me to ride down there!?! pismo on the fourth was like ridn in a crowded, blown out sewer! the nasty ass water is startin to mess with my sinuses. i wanna ride south of conception.

trust me ventura makes pismo water look like the fountain of youth...there are dog turds floating in the lineup ...

I have to agree, you all have some horrible water quality over there...
I wish you guys could see how sweet the water is over here on a clear day... Man, it's like crystal clear sometimes... You can see 20 yards underwater...

it was less than 1 ft here...
that wave on the outside there was all we had to play w/... It may have been a foot tall... I was rolling off them though... Hate doing small rolls... no fun and lots of work

I got to do one role on the 4th behind a 30ft Chris Craft.... It was clean, and I was drunk, and on a friends SJ.... so I decided that was enough.... this weekend will be a hole other story..... i will huck roles all day in knee slap with the 780cc flattop 265lbder :biggrin:

Small rolls are kind of fun, until the next big wave when I end up fast planting a 1 1/4 roll becuse I've been hucking it so hard all day.

uh yeah.... that right there is a problem....
I had been working on getting em bigger (winter, spring) now I'm trying to get em smaller (summer)... no fun :frown:
