I hate this time of year. The waves just go flat. :banghead:

Unfortunately, the superjet is out of commission for a brief period after a few too many meetings with the bottom of the ocean. Backflips in shallow water = :crutches:.
The bed plates came loose, and the motor has to come out to fix it. Tubbies are on the way, so I think I might have to wait for those to get this sorted out.

Blaster is still in pieces, and I've only got a couple months to get ready to go to Brazil.

I just thought I'd vent a little bit about small surf. How about everyone else? Have the surf gods been sh!tting on you too?

Oh, the small surf didn't stop us from having a little bit of fun shooting some video this weekend. Ross just picked up a SUV that makes the perfect film boat.

it was head high at least yesterday here..i surfed and it was fun..it dropped a bit today though..

There is a new rule for this thread.....no talking about surf that's good, unless I'm getting good surf too.

It's actually pretty decent today, outlook for the week is decent. But I have no running skis.

bummer..if it makes you feel any better oxnard111, bluegate and dangerboy and i went out on saturday and it was decent size but blown out, the tide was too high and it was dirtier than a public toilet out there...

Your surf must have come up to NC. Best surf I've EVER seen yesterday in my four years of coming here on vacation. Just rediculous waves with plenty of space between 'em (which we almost NEVER get).

Jerry are you kidding? Have you been sniffing that Pink paint? The surf forecast is calling for 3-5 for the rest of the week and it was definately showing this morning. Ride one of Jerrods boats- he's not using them!!! I'll see you on the ramp tomorrow. I'm riding every day this week!

Yea...um I took the GF out on the SUV the other afternoon.

Turns out that little waterproof compartment is not so waterproof after a few slashes under the lip.

Oh well...new phone is supposed to be water resistant...we will see.

best investment I've made this summer was in a $4.00 watertight box from Walmart in the camping section. just big enough for my phone, some cash, lip balm and my MP3 player and it fits in my engine compartment behind the fuel tank for short trips to remote locations (I haven't found a spot that I'd do any crazy freestyle comfortably, but it's fine for just traveling). basically the same as a diver's box, but a ton cheaper. there's a slightly larger one for under 6 bucks that you can stow in a couch.

I started to call it my "man purse" because I take it everywhere with me now.
