Slymo and the Riot Build Off

OK, here's my thought. Last year at the build off we all poked around with the build-off skis on the beach, and got to vote without necessarily seeing them perform. I figure we need a performance assessment of some kind.

Now, we also have a buddy who needs some love from his freeriding and freestyling buddies, and needs to get his butt to Lanier to party and ride with us and get his spirits back up.

So, I'm thinking Slymo should get to Lanier, and right before we judge the build-off boats, he rides each one briefly so we can see and hear it in action, and get a "rideability" report from a pro. What does everyone think?

If one person demos them all you could see how it reacts to that a style..

I second waterfreak. Bogey or P-Diddy being very talented AND open minded are prolly the best hope for objective reporting. As well as being two of the most honest guys out there. Combine that with their obvious talent and you can't lose.

That was my original thought. Henno is a great rider, and needs his jetskiing buddies to help him through a bad time.

This is the kind of love and support that makes our sport really stand out above the rest.

What other sport would you have hundreds of guys that have countless dollars and man hours invested, offer up their skis to someone that has fallen on hard times just to ride the HELL out of them..

I couldn't pick Slymo out of a line up but I would lend him a ski in a heartbeat...

I know times are tough for him now...what about a paypal account for a flight out there if it is needed. I would be down for at least $20. Just a thought.
