I am glassing in the liner tonight.
I lowered the stock hood (cut about 2" off the top, old top vent area) I'm thinking I may need a couple more breathers due to the lower air volume capacity.
Does it matter how long the breather tubes are? Should they go deeper into the hull than the FA sits, to prevent water suckage? Or can they be short (like 6")
I'm thinking of running 4, 1 1/2" tubes. 3 over the battery area (close together), 1 closer the the E box on other side of carb.
Any other routing ideas? Where to place breather tubes?
Thanks. I have pics of the hood but not uploaded onto a computer yet.
