SJ Wider Tray - Update

Just got through modifying my foot holds by extending them further back and finished turfing the ski.

I used about two complete cans of DAP contact cement and the fumes are making me dizzy. :Eyecrazy:

There's lots of neoprene padding on the top & bottom and even padded inside the storage compartment.

The tray is over 15" wide and with the foothold area it's over 21" wide.

I might redo the chin pad in flat turf and install a tachometer flush mount from underneath. :thinkerg:

The door springs up about one inch when the hood latch is lifted and it's the perfect size for a fire extinguisher etc.

Awesome!... it stays up and out of the water 99% of the time with less back pressure.

It's not too loud using the stock waterbox and large diameter stainless tubing.

The only disadvantage is that both sides of my ski have oil stains after riding; but some all purpose cleaner and nylon brush can take care of that.

Yep they're Avid speed dial compound levers and they are the only levers I could find with enough cable pull for the trim system.

Also they just happen to work great for the throttle too, for one or two finger operation.

The billet start stop switches are waterproof and have silver plated contacts with the wiring going through the bars.

I mounted the lanyard switch in the tray and it's bypassable and the padded cross bar was custom made to protect my beer gut.
