I ran 135/135 with I think 2.3/95 once upon a time on my Novi 48/Riva manifold on a 727. However, no matter what I did, even taking the main jet out and using Mikuni's big external pump, I couldn't make it go rich on top end so that's something to be aware of. It ran great otherwise, very clean and powerful. I attribute it to how Novi altered the fuel flow path through the jet cover and the fact that they were designed for one carb/cylinder.

I talked to Tim at Novi yesterday and he said that it is necessary to run a huge main jet (like 180) in order to to pull in enough fuel for the single carb. The reason is that the air velosity is increased because of the true 48mm opening on top therefore needing the big main jet on top. He reccomended to go with the OEM top / 48 bottom for freestyle application.
On that note, I will stick one of my 48mm carb conversions and see how it performs. I also have a 48mm freestyle novi I will be trying next week for comparison.
