Anyone suffer from shin splints?
mine have been killing me for a while
I got fitted for proper running sneakers and supports, but because i think the shins are so strained i haven't been able to run
i've been walking a little bit, but after a few days of that i have the problem of PAINFUL shin splints
i did some web searching on it, and they say time off is the only cure
i LOVE running, but i think 2 years ago when i started running again, thats when the pain started, and of course me being the typical dumb male kept running through the pain, until last year its gotten so bad i couldn't.
i also used to jump rope alot, and one some sites they say that is bad, so not sure if that contributed to the damage as well
, but never bothered me when i was jumping rope. i was using proper form, like a boxer would
as an alternate, i just a recumbent bike to sit my fat a$$ on when i watch TV now, so for the next few months, that, the UBE, and spin bike will be my forms of exercise
