I'll add my 2 cents. Keep your Seadoo and buy a used SJ. Since I bought my sj, its all I ride now aswell. I still have my seadoos, Reason being, is I always have someone to take riding with me. I live in cincinnati, so its rare to find riding groups, and you never see stand ups. Sad really I wish I had some guys to ride with. Anywho Keep them both. Gives you someone to ride with, or tow you if you break down, and you can switch off when you get tired of riding.

They all say "I'll just keep the Couch and have a SJ too" and the couch just collects dust every time they go out until it eventually sells.....its just the way it goes

That's the decision I made over 2 years ago!

One month later, I bought a second SJ and sold the Seadoo. Haven't regretted it once.

That's what I did too! - the GP1200R sat in storage for 6 x months gathering dust so I sold it! - once you get the stand up bug a sit down is history!

I was recently "forced" into deciding to buy a stand up after my B1 took a dump. I had always wanted one, but was tentative to make the jump. Right now, I wonder why I didn't do it sooner. I have the SXR, but I fully intend to get a Superjet once I get more comfortable on this ski. The SXR still is awesome. I am a bigger guy, so I feel more comfortable on a more stable boat, which I understand the SXR is compared to the SJ.
I am an addict now.

Okay i want to see a poll Please....

Sell 2001 Xp ?
Keep XP and find cash for SJ ?

Thanks

I think the big question is.....do you ride alone most of the time,
or do you like to take ski-less friends with you?
Are you OK maintaining a 2nd ski, buying oil, buying insurance, just
for OTHER people to ride?

I had both a Kawi 750 and a Seadoo XP because if someone wanted to
go out riding with me, I had a ski for them. But that got old, and not
too many people used the Sea-doo anymore. It wasn't worth keeping
if I wasn't going to use it. When I got my Superjet, the Sea-doo was
up for sale within days.

Same thing might happen to the Kawi eventually, depending on how much
use it gets.

I have ski less friends go with me all the time, and its more enjoyable to me to have someone to ride with, even if I'm the only guy on a stand up. To me its worth keeping. I say keep it, and if you dont use it, then sell it.
