yea but if their is no real diff i would go with the sbt for 195 shipped, my biggest concern is if i build the motor any bigger like a 771 team scream wilkl it hold up
I once bought a new hotrods crank.... box said made in Taiwan....well the rod bearings had too much play in them...on the down stroke if u push on the piston it should be solid without a click indicating play....returned it and got an oem.....no click sound :veryhappy:
Dangerboy removed my coupler off my crank using a tool that fit inside the contours of the stock engine side coupler, while the tool plugged into a pneumatic impact gun. spun that sucker right off.
SBT crank with OEM rod/needle bearings. I ran this setup on a Flat top 780cc that ripped, with no problems. The rods actually appeared a little beffier then oem.
I think the guy who use to run crankworks builds the cranks for SBT now if I remember correctly.
I have heard good and bad about Hot rods.
I will stick with the SBT and OEM rod bearings because It has worked for me, and I realy have not heard of any issues.
