rn handlepole bolt question

does anyone know how long and what kind of threading the rn handlepole bolt is ?

i converted from a sn tro a rn poler and couldnt use my longer sn bolt do i drilled out the rn threads and just used one long bolt.

i just bought a umi handlepole breaket due to breaking my stock one and want to do the bolt right.

how did you re thread it? and i think i someone threw ayay my sn bracket and bolt :-(

I have a square pole bolt for sale. $15 shipped... or you can look for a true round nose bolt, but they are can be expensive new, and are hard to find used.

I couldn't find one on McMaster's site when I was looking. I finally found a used one. You could just run two bolts without a spring until you find one. Its a 14mm pitch thread.

that would mean theres 14mm length in one revolution of thread.
the pitch is 1.5 or 1.25 im not sure.
M14x1.25 or M14x1.5


You're right. I used the wrong terms. When I looked I could only find 1.5 and 2.0 pitch. Can't remember which one it was though. Take the bracket to Lowe's and try both.
