guy dont know much about it and i never really heard of r pod.
(carbon fiber hood for a Kawasaki sxr 800 standup jet ski. I sold the ski so I have no use for it anymore. The hood carries the stamp "R Pot design" which must be the manufacturer. What you see in the pictures is what you get. I wasn't the original buyer so this is about all the details I have on it. The hood is in great condition.)

Its a race hood. Probably wont hold up to well to heavy freestyle abuse. Also will likely take on a bunch of water.

If its a good deal like $100, then you could probably modify the air intake and make it work.... But you will likely damage the hood if you plan on trying roles.

I know somebody with this hood. It is super light but it is light because it isnt very strong, its a race hood.

GASKETS FOR CHAMP BRAP!
Rpot is Rick Potts. His business has been here in Havasu for many, many years. They used to make carbon hulls/parts for the mod class and custom composite parts for whoever needed a one off special piece. They also made lots of rcarbon rideplates, etc.

Also so they made a lot of billet alum parts too like hydraulic trim systems.

Now I hear they make a lot of fiberglass home improvment items.

Man I would buy that and reinforce it! Even if youo add 10lbs in reinforcement you will still be 10 under stock!

Smurf reinforced a Wami race hood and it came out great and 7 under stock or equal to my waterdawg SJ hood.
