Yes it is possible, and it is very good modification. Riding position will be much better. I like very much. But if you use stock yamaha steering you had to drill new hole for steering and steering will be very slow. id use shortened kawasaki steering.
You had to made:
Bushes for pole pivot, i dont remember sizes
New stud for steering if you use kawasaki steeringplate or yamaha steering
Bracket for steering cable
you had to cut original sx pole spring and made bend
cut little piece of rn pole, this wont take reliability.
And thats it... I took me about 3 hours to fit rn pole to sx. No hard at all...
