Hey guys, i am trying to make some plans to go down and ride in the surf with some of the chicken bone people i met on the 4th of July weeknd. I don't know quite where yet, i am pretty sure its gonna be in the gulf. I decided i would make a thread about it, and see if anyone else wanting to go along and meet up down there and have a little "mini" freeride with just a group and more than just two or three people. I know i am gonna bring 2 or 3 with me if we decide to go. Who else would be interested in going? :Banane09:

Dont knock it........... I have raced in FT Walton in july with an 8 ft wall at the outer sandbar. with 4 ft breakers inside. Vacation in July/Aug in Orange Beach and gone from 3-4' one day to nothing, then back to 4'............

The gulf is hit or miss....... Not all of us live where the East Coast of florida is accessible.

Yeah, i don't really feel like going to the ocean side of FL. So the gulf is the closest thing to surf for most of us. Its more surf than we have here on our lakes back up here. Friday evening during the Chicken bone ride, they got about 4-5 ft, so it's just gambling i guess. I just had fun when i was down there last time, and plus i wouldn't mind spending a few days in PCB! So, yeah, i just posted to see if anyone wanted to come. I gonna have a blast if its 1-3 ft, or 4-6 ft!!!

I was gone that i thought it was IBS the whole time til now! Oops. The light beer works just fine, does the same thing, and taste a heck of alot better. Although, i couldn't taste anything after those IPA funnels.... :Flush:

It is actually IPA, but close. Maybe Justin can come down to cook you up a WAAmburger, or better yet we'll have the WAAAmbulance waiting. :ugh2: Either way get prepared in advance...since Michigan beer is most likely going to be there.

I am in, not sure about superjetdave, but I'll pack the van fo sho. There is a hull waiting for me in Cape Coral, so at some point i will have to go get it...and why not hit up sebby's cove on the way back????? At least we would be sure to hit waves there.

I went out on the big lake (michigan) this past weekend...cold and i picked the wrong day. Sat. was small but the only day i could go, and sunday was decent. The water is still in the forties up here.

HAHAH! Sorry guys, oh well. Glad to hear some of the michigan boys will be down! I figured it would be a good date to do a ride since the fourth is on friday and people can get some traveling done without having to bail a day off work! Anyone got any ideas of what town to stay in, p'cola, destin, Panama City?

Badassss!! I have been riding alot recently, and with the SJ, riding is improving very fast! I'm learning quick... Can't wait to see the rolls!
