Popoff pressure leak

I've been rebuilding my 2001 Yamaha XL 800 and after rebuilding one carb I attempted to check the pop-off pressure, but have discovered that air leaks out where body 2(the piece with the check valves) and the main body meet. It occurs at around 60 psi (pop-off should be about 80)but I was wondering if it leaks because there is no fuel, or if something needs to be corrected. I removed and cleaned the surfaces and made sure there was no debris creating a leak.

Is it leaking on the check valves? I know when you rebuild them they are directional and that might be your issue

It's the orings, for whatever reason some kits are just slightly smaller diameter orings and they won't seal properly. I've had to reuse the original ones that didn't leak before numerous times and surprise, the leaks stopped. There was a point when even the black rubber seal was so thin in a lot of kits you could see through them with some light behind. That was just a couple of years ago when the supply chains were at a total standstill and it was down to use whatever was available. Quality in a lot of things hit supreme lows. It seems like some things have started to return to normal but definitely try putting the original orings back in and try again. It seemed to be most prominent with the oring that outlines the filter and has the divider down the middle. Also, are you certain those carbs need 80 psi popoff?? That's beyond the max values in Mikuni's charts. 55-60 sounds more like typical stock numbers.

I'm almost certain OEM seats are 1.2 with 115-gram springs from Mikuni. I'll have to see if I can find my old o-rings and hopefully, that fixes the issue. It would make sense as they don't protrude very much creating a seal.

I don't have those , those fit I body carbs , not only are they I body but the parts are bigger as the fuel pumps on those carbs are bigger. Only Seadoo 951'S, GP and XLT 800'S and 1200's use those carbs.

I will say those prices are ridiculous try here.
