Polaris 785 Pro versus Cadillac Escilade :-(

the drunks insurace should replace everything and if he doesnt have insurance SUE HIM!! HE WAS DRUNK YOU WILL WIN

The drunk cop has Farmer's insurance. His liability should cover the ski and the trailer.

Looks like it's gonna be on the TV news tonight.

I'm gonna be pissed if they decide to fix my truck and it ends up taking 8-10 weeks to get it fixed. I don't know if/when I can get a rental TRUCK.

hope everyhting works out for ya..

a good shop should have it done in 2-3 weeks depending how involved it is

it is also ur right for his insurance to pay for a rental for you (at least in my state it is but you have to ask b/c they wont offer b/c they're bastards)

Rent a H2 Hummer at Avis and make his insurance foot the bill.
It does not quite work that way. But it never hurts to ask.

The loser drunk cop's liab coverage should pay for damage to ski, trailer, truck, lawn, etc. They shuld also provide you with reasonable transportation (rental) during reasonable down time for your vehicle. If your truck is repaired insted of totaled, ask about being reimbursed for 'diminished value' of your vehicle.

So, aren't those 2007 Tundras nice?! Hope you're in a rental truck soon, say maybe this weekend. I think we are going to Lewisville for some riding Sunday afternoon. I'm in Fort Worth. Shoot me a PM if you can make it and I'll get you more info.

Aaron,

they have to rent you a truck. they have to give you something compairable. unfortunately i have been there several times. enterprise has pickups. don't let them try and jack you around because they will try. i want to know how a dallas cop owns an escalade. they gripe because they get paid like crap. oh and he lives in rockwall/rowlett which is not a cheap place to live.

good luck. did you ever find a trim switch that boyd was needing for that polaris?

I have actually confirmed this with my neighbor who is also a Farmers insurance agent... so I don't know what to say... I'll believe him until I am proven other wise.

looks like IM the one who needs a new agent and ins. company. funny how they tell you ONE thing before you purchase a policy and you then find out its actually something else later:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

so i apologize for set comment before, you are , indeed correct.:cool2:

if my garage burns down any vehicles that are damaged have to have there own policy to be replaced
