Pics of WDK razar and diablo hood, mounted on SJ????

Hi guys, does anyone ride with one of these hoods?
Pro's and con's for each one?
I would like to see some pics of these mounted on a ski - as im considering buying one of them.
How are the quality ?

Pics of my Diablo Hood:

Pros: It's cheap and works reasonably well.

Cons: Quality is sub-par, it is thick and relatively heavy, and the liner has problems.

Conclusion: You get what you pay for.

Okay, arnt all glass hoods "heavy" ?
Does anybody ride with the razar? I think i might be "too low" ? to "hide the pole" if the pole, lay flat to the hood?

I am not entirely sure how WDK lays up the hoods, but judging from the thickness and weight of the outer shell, it looks like choppergun layup, which is heavy. So no, not all glass hoods are the same degree of heavy.
I didn't mean to imply it's a bad hood, because it isn't. It's about what I'd expect to get for what it costs. There's a reason better hoods cost more. It takes more work, more time, and better materials. The hood doesn't fit that well, has liner issues, and some stress cracks, but it has held up great to three years of my abuse - plenty of 3/4 rolls, surf use, and pancaked backflips.

As far as i can read, both the razor and diablo hood weighs about 14 pounds??
How much does the stock sj hood wiegh?

the advantages are not as much water intrusion and better looks.

the weight loss is minimal. like matt e said, you get what you pay for.

mine is cracking the gel coat in a bunch of spots. oh well its a 400 dollar hood. i didn't expect much more out of it. it keeps the water out much better than my stocker which is what i was interested in.

that is pretty much the reason whey I bought mine also. My gel coast has cracked also, including on one of the front corners where there was a huge air bubble under the gel coat. I just barely pushed my finger on it and it cracked open. no doubt the result of using a chopper gun.
