Ohio River Clean Up Project

This is a cool program that goes up and down the river to clean up garbage on the banks. Really helps clean up our water ways so we can enjoy them more. I plan on attending to help out......any body that wants to volunteer is very welcome and would be greatly appreciated.

well.........that is a different story :biggrin: That is an ongoing battle with insustrial poluters.

Most garbage in the water ends up on the banks.. just like at Edgewater after a storm...

They have currently removed over 8 tons of garbage along the ohio. :bigeyes: This includes tires, refrigurators, plastic bottles ect...... they also clean up connecting creeks. Awsome program :arms:
