Well now that I have just spent the last 1.5 hours reading all of this all I can do is laugh. People take the internet too seriously. The standup-sit down thing is like the difference between Coke and Pepsi. People are going to have different tastes and like different things. One should not be threatened nor made fun of for their particular beliefs. All in all is that we know Pete will be back, and that SFL will be "un-banned" although I am not sure why he was banned... and hopefully everyone will apologize and be friends. We are a family of many races, religions, and preferences and that is what makes this community STRONG! lets not forget that we are all here for one reason!!!!!!!!

Follow the Rules, Be Respectfull........... we are all going to have a disagreement at one time or another......... we get over it and go on.......... So, in my eyes, it is real easy to stay a member in good standing........... it is just as easy to get banned........... Its up to you.........

on another note........... im a d!ck............ charlie and i dont see eye to eye in the least......... probably because in alot of ways we are way to alike to ever admit to agreeing on the stuff we might actually agree on........ pete on the other hand i barely know also....... but i do know that pete is more than willing to help anyone for any reasons in this sport/ hobby...... he offered so for me with just a pm request........ as far as the argument between the 2 i think it has been beaten 2 death....... some agree with charlie some with pete..... i think all of us agre though that it should be left between them and not solved on the internet....... and i for one definately think it just the FACT that its on the internet caused it to escalate beyond what it would have/should have in general......... I DO THINK THAT SOME PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN HOW TO SWALLOW THEIR OPINION AND OR PERSONAL COMMENTS AT TIMES THOUGH

2. I disagree. He is constantly helping people on this site with their technical problems.

I NEVER thought I be standing up for SFL or Kawasakit2me but I'll admit that SFL has helped me out a few times. He is one of the most likely to respond to my dumb questions, especially when they are about my X2.

I couldn't stand him when I just a coucher at PWCToday but he's been pretty helpful since I came over here.

when charlie and i were at each others' throats on here, there was a whole forum section that only he, i and the admins could see when we were logged in.

there are the things that people post in public for everyone to see, then there are PM's, HARRASSING PHONE CALLS, emails, and private forums like the forementioned above.

He will push buttons, disrespect members, and insult anyone. He has no respect for mods, and turns up the crap when he is told to stop. Every thread involving some spat between members always has Charlie in the mix. Coincidence?
I have some experience dealing with Charlie from my days with Riot. He lives to be "the martyr". He pretty much will force you to bann him. Riot had basically no rules. We even had a forum for fighting. He forced his own bann by posting a bestiality pic (girl with a horse) and added the name Ally. He went on a rampage and posted the pic all over the sight. Literally hundreds of times!:bigeyes: That was the last straw and he was gone.
I met Charlie at the Lanier ride, and he was as nice and as cool as can be. The real world Charlie is a good guy, the online version is hopeless. Believe me, I've tried.:dunno:

I didnt read through all the pages of this. Since i myself am withdrawing a bit from the boards/ and the Sj for a good while (other stuff, not all board drama). But I talked to Pete earlier this week and he was fed-up with some things that go on here, and just manerisms in the sport. And to an extent I agree. So people please dont jump to conclusions and think that pete bailed just because of SFL and one incident. Thanks-

ill be the first to say, at first..I didnt like him...negativity blah blah blah.........then, this past jan at the daytona ride my bilge switch shorted out at like midnight (i was busy at lollipops)...
lo and behold, charlie was out there with a flashlight that night disconnecting it for me (and we had never met before)....so my batt didnt die.....

well thats alright in my book.....

I wish everyone here knew each other in the real world as well as the internet world. It would make it a lot easier to get along. I always thought SFL was a total douch bag from seeing him always starting crap but I never even pay attention to that stuff. I was however pleasently surprised to meet him and his wife in Daytona and they both helped me get my bilge pump secured in the X2 hull like only a husband and wife duo could work together. After that I figured he had a good heart but just liked to say stuff that he didn't always realize was upsetting to peeps on the boards. Whatever, I have a few friends that most of my other friends can't stand.

I understand why Pete feels the way he does about this though since I have known the guy since the first Rager. He is another jet ski brother to the end. He dragged my X2 off the beach for me at the Rager while I was busy helping other people with theirs. After I realized I forgot my ski on the beach I was totally shot and really had no energy left to drag it off. Luckily Pete already threw it in his truck and got it to the trailer for me. That was like the nicest thing anyone could have done for me. Pete lives for this sport just like I do. And when you are obsessed with it and want it to be great you take it personal when someone throws a negative light on it. SFL is negative a lot but hey that is who he is. I'm not married to him so I am fine with it.

I really hope Pete can see that this sport needs him and this site needs him. He has helped me go places and do things that I never would have done if it wasn't for him.

i was waiting to read all of these to post my thoughts but this was basically them

sfl gets under my skin with the couch stuff yes i think 60 % of it may be in jest. i started on couches and still have one and like it a lot , only ride it a few times a year but what ever.

sfl has been the one to show up along with matt e in nearly any post i have questions in . with my first total rebuild this year on my own ,and my abortion carb situations he seems to always be right there with good advice.

it's ashame he has such a problem with sitdowns, but i bet if he saw my wife doing her 180 nose stabs on a 96 xp he would cheer her on:arms: :woot:

i don't think anyone on here should threaten physical violence. especially over a topic like this. selling a bunk ski or stealing well maybe :biggrin: but not over a simple debate

there have been days i would love to punch 11 on pwctoday but never said it out right. he is just as outright obnoxious at times and he's a mod???????

i hope to see both of you guys back on here you both bring a lot to the table.
i see no reason this site can't open up to all. i would hate to see it try to be the united nations of jetskis but there is room for everyone.

most everyone here started on couches i am betting. it's the entry level ride for a lot of guys. who cares. being entry level means they are on the bottom of the learning curve.
