WOW! I rode the best waves of my entire life and had a blast carving and slashing those big rollers. HUGE thanks to especially 227, but also the Oceanside crew for always welcoming me and helping me get out there and burn through an 'entire' tank of gas. Thanks to the tow in surfers who pulled me in the river after the reserve ran out and thanks to the Harbor Seals who barked at me while I was getting towed (they were mocking me)....
It is a day of riding that I will never forget....
Very cool to see Eddie Bettencourt, MattSmith, Serlin and 227 along with the rest of the Oside crew going big. This is a day where you really miss your 'own' ski so you can really tear it up, but it was still KILLER riding on a great ski.
Bummed that my gopro died somehow in transit from Cleveland to Cali....but, what can you do?
