There were 40 guys surfing at Ralphs that day. Most guys would rather surf Ralphs, Dolphin tanks or Donuts and we didn't want to get into it with anyone so we rode at Little Wiamia at 6am. The surf crowd usually doesn't bleed over there until the other spots are full.

Pt Loma is a wierd place to ride...you can literally 'surf' a wave for like 1/3 of a mile as it rolls past the point and doesn't have a beach to break onto. Tons of seaweed though and I hit bottom once HARD there into some rocks.
