We put a small amount of glass down this evening.

I filled the bond line. After I took the pic of the bond line, and started taking pics of the last layer.. I noticed the SD card was not in my camera. so them pics didnt come out. I got some of the other side we did tonight. I packed the bond line with the 7 ounce glass and some long stringers from the larger glass. Believe me the bond line is now one solid piece.

didnt have any. I packed it with glass, its not going to break. I didnt want to add any extra weight by filling the whole bond line up completely. that would be alot of resin, even with microballoons.

Yes I have lots of jetworks adaptors made up. Yes we will need the foam for next week... I hope.

That would not be much resin actually..... For filling the bond line I was mixing at about a 2:1 ratio of balloons to resin. Probably the same amount of resin you used on your bond line would have been enough to fill it with micro balloons, and it would have come out lighter......


P.S. .... I have plenty you could have borrowed

yea im a dumbass I did not know that. That wasnt even my question.

I think the way I did it is much stronger than only resin and microbaloons mixed together.

She doesnt have a way to haul it there. I didnt have time to take and pick it up.

Maybe on the rear of the ski I might fill it in all the way and use the balloons, but for the engine compartment, I just didnt see the need to completely fill it up.

Lame, I have an empty trailer at the moment. It's all good though. Important thing is to get it going again, and that's happening. I'll call you later or tomorrow to see when is a good time to come down.
