Yes she is working on her ski at my shop. she needs to turn on a light or two, or three.
I must say she has removed 90 % of the foam herself. :arms:

I had the ski pulled outside so I wouldn't get dust everywhere inside.

I may be the only person I know who has not complained about the job. Call me afflicted, but I have actually enjoyed doing this. The only thing that has bothered me were the dang mosquitos tonight. Those suckers were brutal.

All the foam is out from as much as I can get it out. This is going to be tricky doing this just with the tray removed.

If it were my ski Ide glue in some sheets of styrofoam and add a drain plug. Moonie wants to refoam with no drainplug.

Not sure which way im going to seal up the bond line. I guess the rear of the bond line will have to be Glass since I will just have to let it flow back there and I hope it sticks.

1) 5200 in the bond line and cover with glass for reenforcement?

2) Glass and microballoons in the bond line and cover with glass for reenforcement?

which way would you think is stronger??

No way in hell would I trust 5200 to fill a bond line....it flexes, how is that reinforcement??? Need me to come down there?!?!?!?

The rear bond line you're talking about, you mean the very back rear lip area we talked about? That is a PITA to do anything with. I will end up with glass on the outside and dabs of epoxy, best as possible, from the inside.
