ebox full of water and no juice when start button hit. ok i checked with a known good switch and still nothing. ok were do i begin. please help. not sure if it could be coil or relay.

Dry out the ebox and then clean it out with engine start(ether) or brake parts cleaner. Dry out really well and put some wd40 type product on the electrical connections. Start with known good and charged battery. Check battery cable and connections. Try jumping the starter cable directly with plugs out to make it easier to crank. If it cranks, your starter is good. Then try using the starter relay, disconnect the brown wire from the relay and touch to 12v. If it doesnt crank, bad relay. If it cranks, your s/s/s is bad...

iv done exactly what you discribed. iv disconected the brown wire and jumped it to battery and it kicks over. iv even pluged in new switch to my ski and nothing, then reconected switch to other ski and works fine.
Sounds like your s/s harness isn't passing 12v to the switch from the ebox, check red wire at the plug for 12V

well ordered a starter seliniod today with new ebox, and fuse cap gaskets along with 14 new screws. every order seems to be over 100 buck. even little orders seem to get the, throw one of those in also, order.

ok dont hate me. i try to order from chris, and yes he does help me out alote with all of my stupid question and dam right on, on pretty much all of them. my only problem is he's accross the country. i have a hectic work schedule, so our communication times dont work out. and im sorry for that because like i said he helps out even the little people and im not sure if he know how much we appriciate that. (thanks chris). so when i need parts i get my oe parts usually from protec. i am going to have chris build me a motor in the near future hopefully, but my we just had a baby boy last wednesday so it may be alittle longer than i thought. but its going to happen so bare with me chris, and thanks again. hope to meet you this year at pismo in october.

ok new starter relay and still nothing not even a click. iv checked and rechecked. iv cleaned all the connections and put dielictric grease in everything. its not the switch, starter or anything like that. if i jump the brown wire off of the starter relay it turns over. any options.

and i found it. put new msd in about 2 months ago. the red wire coming out of msd that splits off to the fuse. were it was spliced together corroded and broke apart. wow. well new switch and new relay later i didnt need eather one. oh well. iv spent hours the past week checking and rechecking because im and idiot. 2 seconds with the test light and found it. its always the simple things that get me. kinda funny we had our first baby boy last week and iv spent more time on this ski than with him and my wife. well got to love my wife for letting me work on my toys.
