those look big and like they would be pain in the ass to fit some where if you really want a float you can do like i did i have one on a float and the other bilge on a switch. fits neatly under the midshaft

Everything sucks except for this....hee hee NOBODY should EVER EVER EVER run a bilge switch.

question for those running twin pumps..do you end up connecting both pumps water line together for one exit out of the boat or do you run twin bilge pump exits? on high rate pumps ie 1100 could the pressure of 2 pumps cause a single line to blow out essentially just recirculating the water inside the boat?

Do you ever ride in Salt water, because if you do, your switch will eventually fail....or you'll kill a battery by forgetting to turn it off...or you'll sink your ski while tied to a dock because you forgot to turn it on..... or battery died while you were tied off for more than an hour and then it sank.

I stopped buying the Atwoods and went back to Rule. They are shorter and less prone to failure. I also recommend running duals instead of a single larger pump because it is more reliable. If you rely on a single pump and it fails, it could cause issues, where two pumps gives you a better chance that at least one will still be running.

Weird. I have bad luck with rules. Mine seem to get clogged super easy. Like annoying easy?

Im gonna be giving the rule mate 1100 a try. Seems like it would be much better than using a switch. For me anyways.

I have had rules that ran 10+ years but out of the 4 Atwoods In purchased for current ski's, they all failed in under 3 seasons. They don't seem to tolerate running dry as well as the Rules. They are all prone to failure if clogged or hung up on something though.

The rulemates are a great way to go as well. Everything is well sealed and internal so there's nothing to fail.
