Highroller Customs is re-introducing the original front foothold (FFH) and two new style front footholds. The front foothold is a composite part that bolts onto the dash of your stand-up ski. The FFH allows for you to ride one foot forward in the tray which is an ideal position for surf riding, nose stabs and barrel rolls.

The original FFH has an indent underneith that allows for you to enter from straight on. This doesn't mean you can't angle your foot some in the hold, it just holds best straight on.

The new front footholds were designed with feeback from FreeRiders like Nick Foederer and Eddie from Oceanside (LBE). The new style is for the riders that like to ride in a surfing or snowboard stance. (front foot angled) The new FFHs have either a grove underneith that angles for regular stance (left foot forward) or a Goofy Stance (right foot forward). Again you can still go in from other directions, it is just grooved better for the stance it is made for.

Installation:
No need to Fiberglass! (unless you really, really want too) Just silicone, bolt it on and turf. Foothold comes with stainless hardware to install.

Cool Dan. But to help others.

There is an option to clue/fiberglass this hold in correct? I'm sure a few riders may be turned off by moving their electrical box.

Just a quick thought for you to throw in there so everyone doesnt think bolting is the only option.

Looks cool....to bad surf stance give me hibbie jibbies

Good point! It can be glassed on, it just isn't necessary. I can grind out the inside so you don't have to relocate the electrical box. Thanks Guys!

As I have said in other posts, this is an awsome piece! I can't say how it works in flat water but it is awsome in the surf! Get them while there hot!! Glad to hear your manking them again.

werd up Danny.... I like the way it came out...

As far as installation goes, I just screwed mine in w/ #10 SS screws... this is a front foothold, it's not holding hardly any weight... I have used mine w/ no issues for 6 months now.... I don't think glassing it is the best option here... Just screw it to the firewall and call it a day...

Yeah I might be on the list as some point. My front strap isn't very robust... But I really like having my elec box bolts easily accessible and I'd have to relocate my hood straps and limiting rope bolts :banghead:

You can bolt the foothold on and you can still get to your electric box by just unbolting the foothold. Remember you can take your electrical box out by the two nuts on the inside as well (easier this way). I attach my hoodstraps to the FFH mounting bolts. Thanks

I don't understand why anyone would need to get to their electrical box bolts. Hell, mine are turfed over. If I take the electrical box out, I just remove the nuts on the inside.

agreed on the elec box,but i like slutys idea of just screwing them in, easy and effective, Ive been wanting to put one of these ffh in recently,this came out with perfect timing,Im in for one. this with the tubbies and d cutt jett dynam plate,im gonnna have my ideal surf style ski soon

thats if youre using a b pipe or similar. some pipes, like my old riva pipe, do not allow enough room for the box to move forward off of the left stud. so the only way to remove it is to remove the 4 rear bulkhead bolts and slide the box, with the brackets, over to the right and out.
