I should start a poll.....how long before I destroy this one?

The purple seat is going to be cut for hand holds and then recovered with a HYDRO-TURF seat cover that isn't so.....purple.

It still has to be reinforced and turfed, and then she'll be ready for her new 760.

It sure makes the old blaster look a little ragged. Reality is, the old blaster can be easily repaired. That's the next project.

Oh, and I set a new record for myself today by buying two skis in the same day, from two different people. Someone at the harbor asked if I was interested in a superjet. I couldn't pass up this deal.

Waveblaster069 and I got a storage shed. Someone who didn't know us might think we just collect jetskis. I think they might be right. :banghead:

Specs on both?
The Blaster is just a hull. Fortunately, it came with a pump and innershaft, which were the last couple pieces I needed to get my blaster running. And now, I have a decent looking blaster as well. It's going to be getting a 760 @ about 185lbs compression with a limited b-pipe.

The Superjet is a 96 that is in definite need of some attention to the hull. Motor however is in great shape. 701..."slight porting" (according to the seller), Limited B-pipe, Pro-Tec head w/ Pro-tec girdle kit.

That looks like the Blaster Dan was selling. I got the steering and Shredmaster from it. I would have bought it all if it was 2000 miles closer.
It is the Blaster Dan was selling. He's a friend I know out here in San Diego. Him and Rick Nies played a huge part in getting me up to speed with working on skis and helping me out when I first tried my hand at racing.

I would have like to have had the steering too.....but he said he already got rid of that.

How the hell do you find deals like that? I mean, how did you come accross the superjet

The blaster was offered by a friend.....it has no motor.

The Superjet was a chance run-in. A guy at the harbor approached me while rising the skis off this weekend. He said he had a superjet he wanted to sell. I asked him how much he wanted, and the price was right, so I jumped on it. I don't NEED another superjet. I just couldn't let the deal pass me by. He's friends with JK and the Moro Bay crew....if the paint job and azhiazhiam didn't give it away.

awsome deal jerry, looks like the SJ is already a member of the lawn dart club.Im sure you guys will have that hull lookin good soon,
