i dont think there would be ANY comparison at all.
all billet 7 port design with pv's vs a stock cylinder...
and group K is always VERY conservative with its tuning
and porting. they are great if you want a motor that will
last years but not so good if you want all the power
you can get.
theres a reason you dont see everyone running around touting the
raw shoulder dislocating power of GroupK builds. this "hammer" kit has
been on offer for a while.
i think its a good cost effective solution to get more power and stay reliable,
but a shootout? thats like having a duel and one person has a Barrett .50 and the other a BB gun. LOL

ha ha...good info. You are right Group K pitches this as durable motor. Not sure if the scream motor can run on 91 octane as Grp K motor claims.

I have one ski that requires race fuel and I am done with $8-$12 per gallon race fuel (here in CA)...that motor is getting de-tuned with new domes and stock carbs. Any motor that requires more than 91 octane is a no-go for me.

I have talked to radney about this motor and pump fuel can be used and I dont think x scream has a motor that dosnt have a long life.

what about the price difference? i think thats the biggest issue between the too.....a poor person like myself wouldnt even look at the xscream motor as a possibility...

Looks like Group K will bore out to 90mm as well for 865cc.

$1780 vs. $2900....it appears biggest difference is power valves.

I'd love to see a shoot out of these two motors at Havasu:swordfight:

there will be NO comparison

stock cyl vs. a/m cyl...

5 ports vs. 7 ports

PV's vs non

the ability to set a custom squish which = 200 PSI on pump gas with the X motor

zero comparison.
