Sweet deal!

Id say go for it bro! but def. look it over well before paying for it. Look at the bottom of the hull and make shure there are no huge gaping cracks lol! Also ask alot of questions about it such as, previous owners? Have you had any major problems? Title? Does the vin match the ski and also the # on the motor? Things of that nature, but looks like a sick first ski in my oppinion!

That is a nice deal! Its very clean for the year and the original graphics still look good as well as the turf. It already has the majority of the bolt ons done, I bet its a 650 but the cool thing about that is you can always upgrade to the 701 later. And that pipe is a Coffman Sizzler if thats a 650, the same pipe I have on my 701. You have to open it up to match the 701, but thats a great all around pipe! I paid $1400 for my sn but it did have a 701 already. Look around the hull for cracks, especially on the sides of the motor compartment.

thanks everyone....im trying to find out if he did a motor swap to the 701 or if it is the 650sill. I think ill pass on it if its the 650 and hold out till i find a 701 because he is firm at 1100.

it doesnt say 701 anywhere on the add. This is still a good deal if all you want to spend is $1100.00. A 701 will run you $1500 and may not be in as good of shape or have a pipe on it at $1500. Its worth the $$$$ he is asking, just depends what you want to spend.

Seems high to me for a 650.
The pipe is worth a little extra, but it is still a 650. I think you are right to hold out for 701 unless there is a dearth of SJ's for sale in your area.

you can put a 701 cyl on those 650 cases. some say theres not enough flow through the reeds. i say, BS. ive ran both ported and unported 701s on 650 cases and they both had plenty of power.

You should have tons of fun with that ski as a first ski...

I'm a big dude 6'4" 250 and I can get up on a stock 650 SJ... With the aftermarket parts on that and the how clean it looks its a steal of deal that I would not pass up. I would come out there and buy it from Ohio if I didn't just buy and SXI-Pro and in the middle of getting an SXR...

An old clean sj is very hard to come by. Unless theres tons of them around there I would buy it. They're not like 550s a dime a dozen(at least around here).
