Need Private Water for Freestyle Practice

Due to insurmountable resistance on home water, i am being constantly harassed and driven from riding at my own house on lake Jackson Ga. Im in need of practice water for a few days a week that is non-regulated by DNR or other law enforcement.

The lake/pond would need to be around 7-8 ft deep and about the area of a football field (with no tree stumps :smile: )

we have the same problem in s. florida, except we are trying to run buoys. it's either the ocean or drive 40 minutes each way to a pos hole by the airport.

its more one of his neighbors has something against him...the reasons have run the gambit over the last year or so, now settling on "too noisy"...he complains and DNR starts getting eagle eyed on our boy ratti...what kills me is that the guy has a sit down and two boats (one of which im sure is just as loud as ratti's boat w/ the xmw waterbox, that he decided to take out last night at about 10pm:banghead: )...

i'm hangin out with ratti yesterday, he goes out on his boat for a little while, while he is gone i get to watch his neighbor turn blind eyes to couchers trying 360's like 50' from his dock, and some maroon turning so hard he ejected himself and his two passengers (young kids), the guy does not care...but out come the stand ups and he gets all worked up...

The LPD river patrol seems like they are clamping down this year. I have been out just tuning and those guys will just do the passive stuff like post up a few hundred yards away and watch me. When they pull that crap I just pack up and leave, all they are doing is fishing for a reason to ticket me.

i had a local lake patrol boat looking for me when i went out saturday. Our Neighbors love us!:biggthumpup: :banghead: Weve had a big no wake zone dispute for the last 6 months. They say that there dock is the end but then they want it another 100 ft out.:


Ratti, just get what there doing on video with there couches and boats and next time they give you ******** show the dnr or whoever the video..see if that helps.

if you have a loud ski its not a question of who's is louder or who they target, loud is loud.. its the same story as with dirt bikes.. If someone doesnt like dirt bikes guess who they start with ? the loud ones.. stuff some water in a stock box make it as quiet as possible ! I think losing a lil HP is worth a try and keep your spot.. trying to work with the A-holes.. Just my thought..

Dude, I was referring to the other people as retards :wink:

I'd be totally pissed if that happened while I was riding. The water cops up here have been pretty nice to me, I've just gotten a few warnings for stuff I deserved.

bottom line: there is no reasoning with this a-hole unfortunately. i'm sure the ratti's have tried to reason first. the only thing you can do now is move on to another lake

ummmmm, if i had a loud anything the last thing i would pick to bitch about would be someone else's loud anything...see what im getting at? plus, if you read what i wrote i said the reason the guy gives changes whenever he feels like it...the guy has something against ratti / stand-ups / fun, whatever, take yer pick...if ratti rode a completely stock ski, or the quietest ski in the world this guy would just dig deeper to try and harass him...

I would get an old a$$ lawn mower and make the thing as loud and obnoxious as possible. Than I would pick a patch of weeds (the rocky one close to the neighbours house) and mow it religiously every morning.
I would love that patch as if it was the finest golf course.

When the a$$ hole neighbour complains about that (and I'm sure he will) I would generously offer to stop the mowing and go ride instead.]
