Nashville/General Jackson next weekend?

Suzi and I are still planning on heading up that way. We're closing on the new house the Friday after, but if we can get all the packing done this weekend then we should be in good shape to let off some steam :Banane01: I figured we'd start planning now, and we can confirm on Sunday evening after a weekend of packing paper, boxes and fist-fights :starwars:

We usually ride on Sunday, but we're up for either/both days. The General begins it's run around noon or shortly there after on both days. So you guys who are having to drive in can decide which day is best for you.

OK, boys....have ya'll gotten your kitchen passes to ride in Nashville this weekend:biggrin: I know Brit & Darin have both mentioned Sunday. So let's nail it down & call it a Sunday ride.

Just some info for anyone who is coming & not familiar with where we ride. If you are bringing a spare body (and I do mean person), make sure you have a way of getting them across the river. And I don't suggest dragging them across the river to the beach:bigeyes: The gravel beach we sit on is across the river from the ramp. There is no beach or sitting area on the ramp side. Our SOP is to carry stands/anchors, fuel & small coolers across the river to the beach.

No we put in at Shelby Park. River Front doesn't have a ramp. Shelby is about halfway between where the General starts & where it turns around at River Front. We ride up river & follow it back down to Riverfront & then follow it almost back to where it docks. Refuel as needed across from the ramp on the gravel beach. Come on up & join the fun.
