Yea thats it .. Im from their used to hit the General Jackson all the time . thats a long ramp and lock your car not the best area right their ..i want to go anyone going up from GA

Well, I would lock my car anywhere that I wasn't going to be around it for sure. True that the neighboorhood you have to drive thru isn't the best. But actually Shelby Park is not bad during the day. We have been going there for a long time & have never had any problems. Peeps have even left skis on trailers without incident.

I chad some gas cans emptyed out their. but as for that some took my tool box at laneir dumb me left in the back of the truck ... So is it going to be sun or sat ? do you know a M Hunt from their ?

That sux.....just pack it up real good with ear drops & plug it. Little Scumberland never killed anyone....well once there was that floater:bigeyes:

i was their the day the guy Brain ( I think had seen him a lot but not good with names ) got hit and killed on the way to the lock 3 I think is the name of it . just up from opry land .

Yeah, that was Phillip close to Lock 2. That whole group pretty much quit riding after that.

That was not a good day at all .. We were going to party cove after at P.P. but we just went home after that . I think that was the last time I came up to hit the General Jackson .

how big are the waves of general jackson? sounds fun anyone got directions from atl.and what time the boat schedual is on weekends? not this weekend but sure would be cool to hit something different

it depends on its speed & which direction its going, but we can consistently get 4 ft waves, sometimes bigger if they're really on the gas....come up anytime. It's normal schedule on the weekend is a noon run. Once you get into TN, take I24 all the way into Nashville, exit #49 right on Shelby, right on 5th, left on Davidson & follow all the way into Shelby Park. Boat ramp is at the back of the park before the railroad bridge. Let us know when you're coming, we usually ride on Sunday, but can do Sat too if that's better for you.

It's a paddle boat that pushes quite a bit of water when cranking. It's definitely not a houseboat wake.
