Tried it out a few times at the end of the season last year, got pretty close. Couldn't ride for most of the winter as I've been sick, so once I got better, I went out last night and started trying a few more flips, and caught the nose on most of them, but was able to nose in my last one.
This was my first actual at doing flips on the Gen2 BOB with my X-Metal 865cc motor. I didn't pull enough throttle on the take off, but I was still able to get the nose in! Needless to say, being only 17 years old, I'm very stoked to have gotten the backflip before the 2011 competition season. Working on a few more tricks at the moment, such as one-footer rolls, trying to perfect the 360 and my no-hander 180, so hopefully I'll be able to put USA back on the podium for freestyle at World Finals this year!!
My dad was filming with his iPhone from the launch ramp, but I'll be going again, hopefully with a video camera that has zoom, soon!
