Some pictures from 2007 of my buddy bare-footing behind my 650 sj.

He starts out on a knee board and then stands up once we're up on plane dropping the knee board.

It took quite a bit of practice to master this.

Disclaimer: Yes this is far from legal however we always have a ski boat close by to retrieve the knee board and keep an eye on things should something happen (and of course, to take pictures :nana:)

I used to pull my buddy on the wakeboard behind my 650SX. It really sucked when I fell off the ski (he carve to jump the wake and pull the back end of the ski arround, lol).

I've tried to barefoot ski but I haven't had any luck. I'm excellent at skiing and pretty good at wakeboarding. I can solum too. I don't know if I get credit for wake skating but I can get up on it and turn it, lol. Can't get up barefoot... I can drop a ski but I can never get my foot planted. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'd love to be able to do it.

They have it down to a science. Adet has to block the jet with his knees so that he is barely moving. That 650 can barely get going fast enough so there is tons of spray. Barefooting is super hard and the guy he is pulling has been doing it for a while.

Nice trick.

I was pulling a inter tube behind my 650 with my son on it. We were a couple of hundred yards from our dock when the lake partol spotted me. He came over and promptly gave me a ticket for exceding the capicity of my craft. What would happen if my son got hurt? He said. Well I pointed to my whole family standing on our dock with our ski boat ready to go. Still got the ticket. XXXX water cops.

x2 although they sometimes get the drunks off the lake. I really see no purpose for cops. Civilians (more like sheep) with a badge and license to f-up your day is all they are. It must be like 1 in 100 cops that are cool. but even those can be dicks.

Barefooting is so damn hard. I ate chit so many times i stopped trying. Major props to your bud.

I think we're both under 200. Probably around 190 a piece I'd guess.

It is an adventure. I wish we had some pictures of us doing a turn... I have to lay the ski over so far the bars are almost in the water and hold it there just to make a big sweeping U-turn in the river because the rope keeps trying to pull the back of the ski straight.
