Livin the generation gap

Alright first test ride and It sucked.
my buddy brent rode it we did not have our wet suit's yet from our previous trip and when you start it up it just kinda sit's there it does not pull very much, so hop on and give it gas and the damm thing cavitates and will go but it does not go very well you can spin the prop really easy.
I checked the silicone seal and damm it looked pretty good but I pulled the pump and I am in dire need of a prop fast I am thinking a 13/18 or maybe I should calm down and wait for some input from you guy's I do not want to do 65 m.p.h. but I want the most out of this motor and right now a stock x-2 is smoking me
