Alright first test ride and It sucked.
my buddy brent rode it we did not have our wet suit's yet from our previous trip and when you start it up it just kinda sit's there it does not pull very much, so hop on and give it gas and the damm thing cavitates and will go but it does not go very well you can spin the prop really easy.
I checked the silicone seal and damm it looked pretty good but I pulled the pump and I am in dire need of a prop fast I am thinking a 13/18 or maybe I should calm down and wait for some input from you guy's I do not want to do 65 m.p.h. but I want the most out of this motor and right now a stock x-2 is smoking me

OEM SXR impeller machined for the 650 pump. Based on you thread I'm sure you could handle the machining portion of it. I believe all you have to cut it back 6mm and bore out the splined end a bit to allow the shaft to seat completely.
If it just sits there and spins or cavitates you may have other issues.

i thought my silicone seal was good to , i took pump off and re did it with premium silicone and used more of it than fist time and no more cavitiation, most of the 750 guys are using the sxr prop, good luck keep us posted

One way to determine for sure if thats the problem is to completely flood the pump area. The cavitation is caused from pulling air from behind the pump. Once its all flooded with the air out it should run normal. I suspect your just spinning that little 16, no where near enough prop for a 750. My 650 Bpiped and all turned a 12/17 swirl perfectly. Those early big nose props were designed for stock motors and to limit the amount of water entering the pump. That one you ace'd from Shawn will be the $hit.........

Stock SXR big hub, 13/18 I would start there and tune with the nozzle and cone if needed. Worst case Impros can pitch up or down but its perfect on mine and we run almost identical setups.

I was just going to cut it back close to the edge of the wear ring and then whatever that measurement end's up being I will take out of the spline area.
No, No, thats not right. The 6mm cutback puts the prop about where a 750 prop should be to work with the 650 pump. From there you can go closer if you want, I think I am about 10mm total, 6mm at the prop and 4mm off the spacer between the bearings (I don't have a lathe like you). The front only needs around 1/4 inch I think.

Long cone=more pressure=more (potential) speed, short cone more pop but less pressure at same rpm. It is only one way to tune your pump, the nozzle bore and prop pitch are other factors to consider. <TABLE width=750 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD colSpan=2></TD></TR><TR><TD colSpan=2><HR></TD></TR><TR><TD>FSYAM -- Designed with the freestyler in mind, the Freestyle pump cone allows the engine to rev faster for the big tricks. Its small size lets a large volume of water move through the pump with less restriction than with the stock tailcone. This gives you more low end thrust for bigger trix!! Works great with a bored out stock nozzle to help provide even more low end. Anodized Blue FSYAM - $50.00
