Mikuni SBN "atomizer" mod

D-Roc

I forgot!
i know, i was just pointing out that just because we haven't seen this before doesn't mean it won't work. like i said if i was running a cheapo oem 44 carb still, for 17 bucks i would drill it, press it and run it. also assuming that the seller doesn't know what he is selling or what he is talking about is a little bit retarded. it seems simple enough that i could even do it. i wonder if jbweld would work or if it would end up plugging some of the holes. i would think a proper press fit would hold it in.

It would be a great idea if it improved the main circuit signal along with atomizing the fuel better.

PROK use to make those along time ago and they stopped selling them for some reason.

I would definitely recommend having the carb bored out to the half inch size on a milling machine to insure accuracy and keep from breaking the inner venture off.

lol... I'm not assuming he doesn't know, I just said his descriptions and the way he explains it is very vague, leading me to believe he's a little on the blind side of it. leaning towards the "retardation"...lol

and yes, and proper "press fit" would be the way to do it. that's not what he says, he says drill it out to 1/2", oil the o-rings, and throw some loctite on it (scary). I would rather drill it a little tight, and make sure it stuck good enough to resist vibrating out and down through the engine.

Maybe they'll have the outer venturi atomizer for sale like the brapjacks next week.

Just drill out with the 44mm drillbit, insert outer venturi atomizer, done.

At least vomitspot is being topic oriented.... can yo tell us what were the effects of installing these? Did you make comparisons to oem carbs sometime in the past?
