Super Jet Maintenance recommendation?

Hi guys, I am a first time ski owner with a new superjet. I am having trouble finding what all should be done for maintenance. I am looking for information about what to do after each ride and yearly when it will be put away for the winter. It will be ran in fresh water only so flushing should not be necessary. I am mechanical so i can take care of anything that needs done, im just not sure what to maintenance on it:headbang:Would appreciate some input on what to do.

I fog my carbs, either drain the fuel or add fuel stabilizer, remove my battery (tender is nice to have), clean her real good, cover her, and if its outside run some RV anti-freeze through the cooling system.

Just use fuel stabilizer all the time and you won't ever have any problems. If you're not gonna ride for a while, open the hood and let it dry completely. Really there's not much to do, it's not like the motocross bike...(you know, cleaning air filter after every ride, changing oil after every 5 rides, etc.)

ok, so if its not outside is it ok to just start her up blow the water out even if the building might be below 32 degrees? Or will all the water come out with just starting it up? If not what do I have to do?

Air is hard to freeze... I usually just drain everything completely by pulling cooling feed line(s) from pump and blowing through them after pulling the manifold line and letting engine drain.

Sweet. And is there any bearings or anything i have to grease, like in the drive line or steering?

Very few people are, that is why there are so many rusty cranks out there. Run it until the head gets over 150 or until the thermo switch kicks in. This takes over 10 seconds at wide open throttle with a stock rev limit. It will get hot faster at part throttle and will also tend to diesel so avoid doing that.

The only maintenance a jetski (2smoke) needs is to be started on the trailer once a week and use it (run ski in water) when it is warm outside.

make sure to put chain lube on the exhaust bearing before you put it away! also change the coolant oil and adjust the valves in the bottom end......:Banane09:
