dude, you suck, you have opened up a curse in cleveland with this cooling line clogging crap, both of my lines were so clogged today, had to pull the rideplate on the beach and grind sand out of my lines, the other line i had to fix at home, and ended up putting a new 90 at the pump it was so jacked. in 10 yrs i have only had this happen that bad one other time, damn:banghead: and 2 times in one week now

i hope the dark cloud leaves soon, we are not having a real good summer so far for hard riding at all

broken bones, skis, pistons, driveshafts and steaming hot motors galore

( except the plumber????????? why is that) hmmmmmmmmm

doh, was so hot and delerious forget to get to the point.

anyone have any ideas as to how to prevent this from happening,
i usually shake out the sand and then just give a blip with the starter to blow the rest out after beaching. and usually dont have trouble
not something a line strainer will help as it's just after the pump 90's

we seem to have a plague of this going on up her this yr it's really odd

Yeah it sucks... :shooter3:We are going to have to make a "Cooling Line Declogging Kit". I can keep it up in the tree with my beach rake. I think Mau has the right idea:

It should contain:

1. Long and Short flathead and phillips screwdrivers.
2. Coat hanger
3. 4ft piece of 12 guage solid wire
4. Various pokers of all shapes and sizes.

Nobody should lose a day of riding again because of a clogged water line. :woot:

The curse seems to be covering all of the lake! TXJFrosty, Newman and myself have broken a bunch of stuff this year. Currently Newmans '05 is totally stripped and getting reinforced, because of a crack at the bulkhead, and a pretty good nose crack. Frosty's is down again for an electrical issue, after a bunch of work this year! Lets send the curse down river to Lake Ontario!! LOL

this happens to us down here on occaision as well......especially at the beaches that are made of coquina rock (crushed shells)...

I have often thought of trying to design some sort of apparatus to blow out lines on teh beach...compressed air, CO2 etc etc.....

one good thing to have is an extra piece of water hose so if you need to, disconnect the main line from the bulkhead and just reattatch the extra line...make it long enough to get it above the motor compartment so you can blow into it, pour water into it etc etc....

We are all idiots for not doing this a long time ago. A simple tool kit hidden in our zone!

The bumbs can use them to make ******** at night. :irked:

:sneaky:

ODJNR hides a rake up in there to do the job that ODNR won't do

:sneaky:

But a CLD kit and other various tools would be a kick arse addition

:sneaky:

did no rippin. got to the beach, said hi to everyone and on the frist trip out to play i was clogged. then used dj's ski to get more tools after blowing through lines and thought i blew u[p his ski coming back.

so basically the whole time i was there i rode in and rode home. it was dumb basically a waste of gas to drive there

i really think we should get a harbor freight metric tool kit and have everyone pitch in a few bux and keep it in the woods

Thats sucks man!

Count me in for some loot! Someone just go get it and tell the rest of us what we owe you. Get a good one and we'll divide by like 7 or 8 people. We'll dig a bad as sand pit for it and bury the whole case in 5mm bag

That thing will stay there all winter and never be seen!

we'll also get a stick of loctite and a few other goodies like the pieces of wire etc. i hate bringing my tools there in a back pack and getting everything wet and greasy

go to harbor freight and just outfit yourselbes a FULL toolbox.....

i have a beach box that has everything you need and put it togehter for like 25 bucks...

full metric sockets
pliers/screwdrivers/adjustable wrench
ether/plugs/zipties
and a lighter :cool2:

seriously, this will be the best thing you ever do......and when that socket gets rusty or stolen, oh well...5 bucks gets another!

Our main problem seems to be the sand and broken shells issue. I am going shopping tomorrow at home depot to rig a kit up. It will be in the 4th Maple tree after sasquatches footprint on the east trail just passed the large rock on the eighth branch up facing west. :woot:

Just make sure no one sees you put it there!

I have some weed stashed on the ninth branch:sneaky:
