I have heard nothing but good things about this company but I have so say that so far my dealings are not good at all.

I had exhausted all other options in looking for a Sea-Doo part for a customers boat who didnt want to pay $$$$ for a new Rotary Valve cover and so I callled M&M Marine

The gentleman who answered the phone was very helpful and told me that the part was in stock and after that it fell apart.

All of this took place on March 19th, he said it would ship that day. Well as of Yesterday the 28th of MArch I still did not have the part in my hand.

I called M&M yesterday around noon EST and was told the he was out of the office but he remember my purchase and that he would give the tracking info to his secretary and she would call me within the hour. As of 5pm EST I still had not heard back so I called again. Was once again told that I would recieve a call back with in the hour by the owner cause he knew that the info was on his secretarys desk. As of 8 pm EST I still have not heard from anyone at M&M and when I arrived home last night there was still no part on my door step.

They have had my money since the 19th and I still dont have a part.....

You might want to reconsider doing business with this company

Ok, just to keep everyone up to date.

I called M&M around 12 pm today EST and got the good ol operator saying that the 800 number I called had been disconnected. So I go on the website and get their other number.

I called it and got voicemail and left the following message." Hi, this is so and so and i called you on Friday 2 times about a part that I ordered and was told both times that I would recieve a call back and never got it. if i dont here back from someone today, i would file a fraud charge with my CC. Thanks and have a good day"

About 1 hour later I got a call from Mitchell who told me, " After I receieved that bullschiot message from you i went ahead and refunded your card, UPS must have lost your package and i will be sending you a receipt"

OK, I guess, but how do you think UPS lost my package, cant you trace it and find it, or did you never send it in the first place..I guess I will never know. Lets see if i really got my credit now......

OK, might not be that bad..I did get my money back finally...

But i would still think long and hard before dealing with them again....

I've purchased numerous things from Mitch over the years and always been satisfied. Sorry to hear about your dealings with him. I hope this is not indicative of how things are going.

Nice to see you keeping him honest, but he's been very helpful for us here at the shade tree.

In the 5-6 pieces we received only one was shipped late. Small business myself so I can understand, but going months is not realistic.

I like the guy, but as stated:

I had a problem selling a 650 pump to mitchell aka M&M marnine. I sold it to him for $100 shipped COD. I went and deposited the check & it bounced costing me & him. Then when I called he said he forgot to call me to tell me he didn't like the pump. I said send it back. He sent me a different pump back. Guy is a scumbag in my book.

I tried posting on this thread before, but apparently got moderated.

I get attitude every time I deal with Mitchell even when I am just asking for a price. Bought once, when he guaranteed a body part for my wife's Kawi couch would fit, it didn't come close. Wrong part, he wouldn't refund shipping plus I had to pay shipping back to him.

His prices are no bargain either especially considering it is used/salvaged junk he still charges 75% of what you'd pay for OEM new. No Thanks.

wow i didn't know this has happened to people with Mitchell, i have bougt parts from him and been very happy. never had any problems with him. i will always have him in mind when i need parts, keep this in mined i live 60 miles from him and pick up the parts myself, maby there has been bad luck with shiping.

Th only time I ever cam close to having a problem was on a Polaris CDI box,the price he quoted me was way high,I called him back and told him what a new one cost and he lowered the price to 1/2 of the new part cost,1/2 is standard pricing in the used parts business.I couldn't ask for better than that.

im with scorn
i sent him a white doo 947 head very rare and in perfect shape
he snt back a 717 head spray painted gray and said it wasnt what he was looking for
few weeks later he realized his mistake but i was still out my head and $ for shipping
i will not buy from them or sell to them again

He bought some cases off of me after I showed him pics of every little flaw. After I sent them to him, he changed his mind and wanted his money back. He did pay to ship them back to me...

so no loss on my part.

I'm glad I came across this thread. A while ago I bought a yamaha 701 engine from him and also a Yamaha gasket kit. When I got the box it was pretty ratty looking. It was an old SBT box with that expandable foam packaging. When I unpacked it I found many disappointing things. First the packaging was absolutely horrible. Next the gasket kit was for a 650 and not 701 engine and it had already been opened and was missing all of the important gaskets and one of the three seals. This was the least of my worries. I pulled the motor out of the box and and found that one of the ears that the motor mount threads into was busted off. The three motor mount bolts were still threaded in and were all bent. After more examination the break fresh and was all covered in dirt/oil/crud. The motor was extremely corroded and it was very obvious that the engine damage didn't happen in shipping. I called the guy up and he said he was sooooo sorry and that he didn't ship it that way. He ends the phone call saying that he will pay the welder to weld up my cases and send me a new gasket kit. After it is all said and done he didn't pay me anything for the welding and didn't send me a new gasket kit. There was a negative thread on greenhulk about this a little bit ago too. He ended up being a liar and thief and I won't deal with him again.

i tried to buy a pipe off him and all he kept saying is how long he had been in business and how he is the best. I was very put off by how arrogant he was about his business. He wa spitching this used b-pipe to me like a car salesman. I was just like whoa dude slow down.

Decided not to buy because he had no pictures and i didn't want to buy with no pictures. I figured if he was really the best in the business he would at least have a camera to take pics of a 500 dollar pipe.

Just my two cents.
