Lustic's new Trinity sxr

I test rode this boat last night, and all I can say is wow! What a improvement over any Yamaha I have ever riden!

The power is insane! I have never rode a ski any were near this kind of power! I dont think a 1000cc motor would be worth putting in a SJ hull, it would be to uncontrolable.

The pump is a 145 Mag, and Hooks up!

The boat rips around were ever you point it.... after a few figure 8's I know this is the best handeling freestyle platform I have ever riden... the weight feels like its in just the right spots... can wait to get some time on the boat in the daylight.... Last night at 9:30 in the St. Johns was a little extreme.

Going out in a couple hours for another ride. :woot:

How does this boat compare to an EME? They are looking quite similar (Polaris/kawi)
Maybe we will be able to answer that question in Havasu!

word up!

Yes I agree this boat with Polaris Motor Is heavier then it could be... but it still feels noticibly lighter then My 270lb boat... Hard to say without a scale.

I was refering to what one could way with a Kaw, or Yamaha motor.

The pump is a 145 Mag...

I could see the boat with yamaha componets being in the 240 range easily sorry i though you were implying this boat was in the 220-230 range

what prop is in it? is it running a water box? how is motor hitting on the bottom end? Looking forward to checking this one out. Sounds perfect

Motor hits like freight train, and hooks up and launches right off idle.... I will find out what prop.

He is running a dry pipe, with a small resonator that sits between the back cylinder and bulkhead.

If there was more time we were going to try a B-pipe setup.... but were worried of jetting Nightmares.

The boat is straight bad arse.

cracker, you crack me up. you talking like anyone can just go pick one up. most people are stuck with stockers.

I relize the boat is out of 90% of People's league (including myself). I just want to let everyone out there know that this is the best hull $$$ can buy.

I know 25k is alot of dough. But look at what you are getting.... Its a exotic Carbon and Kevlar ski with 1000cc motor, not a Proline boat (chop glass/ polyester).

I know there are plenty of people in the World that are spending 20+k on boats. :nono: I just think that anyone in that kind of Market needs to Know

Hey Bronson, lighten up, Idok is posting his opinions on the SXR's and even a lightweight Wammer SXR, he is entitled to his opinions as much as you are.. But no reason to jump on his case about it........ This is getting old......

I wouldnt even call Wammer Hulls Light weight.... Spoke with him at Daytona, and the one there was 100lbs.....

Again compare Trinity Hull 66lb SURF HULL including exhaust, and Scupper:Banane25:

Wammer Hull 34lbs heaivier.... and even more if that weight doesnt include Scupper and Exhaust.

It is amazing how strong Carbon Fiber can be when used correctly.

This is a Forum Harrison.... And I dont believe I am breaking any rules.... Voicing My opinion on what I Know!

Sounds like too much power for a B pipe.

There should be some pics from today on the Trinity site by tomorrow. A couple from it sitting in the water, and a few cruizing pics.

There was a minor steering issue, and the trim system is not on.... he did throw it backwards once and it looked super good for having no trim.

Monday I think they will take another ride to clearwater "x-metal" to correct the steering issue.

Lots of excitment going on around these parts.... Bobby's uncle is ready to load the camper and take a road trip :woot:

Your talking this ski up like there is no reason for them to build a SJ version. What about the people that want SJ and have a power plant for it already. There are more of us that can afford the hull and use our old ski as a donor, than shell out that kind of green

sounds to me like cracker's just really excited about what sounds like a great ski and the fact that its being built by a great guy (bobby @ trinity + xmetal)
